About 3 years ago my daughter wanted a toy poodle of her very own. Once we found her we named her Licorice, and she weighs about 7lbs. She’s very small, and can run through our black iron fence as if it didn’t exists. Well one day she ran through the fence and would not come back. She ran and ran and ran, which to her must have seemed like forever, but in reality was only 2 backyards away. I kept screaming her name to come back, promising everything under the sun to convince her. She just ignored me and slipped through the neighbors fence and into their backyard. Now mind you they have 2 very large dogs, and all I could think is that they’d eat her for a snack. But then as soon as I yelled Licorice she zipped out of their backyard through their fence and was back across the field running home. Fast as she could run she slipped back through our fence, into the house, and under my dining room table where she dropped a piece of poop that she had grabbed from THEIR backyard from THEIR dogs!!! After the horror washed over my body, I quickly went to my computer and typed in ‘tiny dog slips through fence’, and up popped Puppy Bumper. I have been a happy customer ever since.

Our puppy bumper just arrived today and we couldn’t be any happier. In March this year we lost our yorkie Jake to a coyote and have since been on major guard of our new puppy Max. I got the love of my life; my puppy Isis five months ago. I have been researching ways to keep her safe because we do have a balcony. I put up a great hardware net but I still felt uncomfortable. I just want to thank you SO MUCH for this wonderful product. The puppybumper has made it possible for me to let my dog run free in our fenced in backyard without worrying he will get through the pickets. We spent A LOT of money getting our fence installed and I was so excited when it was completed about a month ago and we could let our West Highland Terrior, Kirby, roam the backyard. After about two weeks of freedom, however, Kirby figured out that he could squeeze through the pickets. I was sick to my stomach thinking about how much money we had put into a fence that wasn’t doing it’s job….keeping our dog in his yard. The puppy bumper is working out great. It was for our Bosten Terrior, Dozer. He is a bit of a runt. At first he could slip right out of it since his head is as large as his neck. But we zip tied the little ribbon straps you are supposed to use with a collar, to a harness. Now it works great. And he loves being outside so it’s nice not to have to have him tied up all the time. He likes running and rough housing with our boxer, Koko, and of course barking at anything that moves (or doesn’t move for that matter)
